Carette 1905 Heissluftmotor

A large 1905 Heissluftmotor by George Carette & Co. Germany, probably a version manufactured for Basset & Lowke (UK). Aka Stirling Engine or Hot-Air engine. Runs on the original alcohol burner. With a 18cm flywheel the largest in my collection. These machines were used for shopwindow showpieces and quite rare to find these days.
