Former President Donald Trump has been ordered to pay $83.3 in damages to writer E. Jean Carroll for defaming her after she accused him of sexual assault, a jury ruled Friday, ending years of litigation as Carroll has sought retribution for the former president’s attacks on her—and adding to the $5 million Trump has already been ordered to pay her.
