Planxty Drury Irish Set Dance - Kieran Jordan and Rebecca McGowan

This is a dance I learned from Grace Ann Coyle, TCRG/ADCRG, while growing up in Philadelphia. It was taught to the Coyle School by Jimmy Early, TCRG/ADCRG, of the McLoughlin School of Irish Dance. I competed with this dance for several years. I taught it to Rebecca in 2022 as part of our Traditional Arts Apprenticeship, a grant program through the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Performed here on June 13, 2022 at the Deborah Mason Performing Arts Center in Somerville, MA.
