Syria fiercest clashes: Russian warplanes fire ’hundreds of shells’
Activists claim that the Syrian army and allied forces, supported by Russian warplanes, have made further advances in an offensive against insurgents on Monday (October 12), in the fiercest clashes for nearly a week.
Video clips posted by activists on Sunday (October 11) purports to show Russian helicopters firing at targets in the town of Kafr Nabuda in Hama province in western Syria.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights alleged today (12 October) that Russian jets carried out at least 30 air strikes
