ÖBB 1116 257 “Taurus“ on a high speed test in Bulgaria

On May 15, 2016 this ES64U2 locomotive did a high speed test run in the section between Lyubimets and Svilengrad in Bulgaria on the new railway track. The maximum reached speed was 227 kph. The whole railway line from Plovdiv to the Turkish border must be completely ready till the end of the year.
