Hailing all the way from Kathmandu in the Himalayas, Mishu Shrestha is the first-ever Nepalese designer to take part in London Fashion Week. Emerging out of covid pandemic, designer Mishu Shrestha wants her customer to focus on the beauty of life & humanity. Giving back is key and culture preservation through textile craftsmanship is what’s driving the brand MISHUS forward into the future, with the aim to touch the global audiences with a unique take on “Himalayan Chic”.
The first international ready-to-wear collection is inspired by silhouettes of leaves, traditional weaving patterns, and motives. The designs are simple yet exquisitely crafted using sustainably sourced refined cashmere, a mixture of
cashmere and Nepalese silk, hand-woven silk, georgette silk, and eco-responsible denim which contains 35% viscose sourced from Asia Pacific Rayon (APR), the first fully integrated viscose producer in Asia from sustainable plantation to fashion.
All MISHUS cashmere and silk fabrics are hand
