Minstrel Boy: A Fallen Kabul Hero’s Memoriam

“Minstrel Boy“ was written by Thomas Moore (1779–1852) to honor Patriots around the world. Amidst an extraordinary chaos of U.S. leadership, the most lethal incident for U.S. troops in Afghanistan in a decade took place last Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021 in a suicide bombing at Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport as Taliban took control of Kabul on Aug. 15, 2021. The attack killed 13 U.S. service members, and maimed many more.
