Marking the 30th anniversary of the first World Stunt Boat Championships Supported by Palm and TYF, organised by Andy Middleton, this event was the first World freestyle kayaking championship, which set the mould for the 1993 Ocoee River, Tennessee, World Whitewater Rodeo that established whitewater rodeo (or freestyle) as a seriously fun competition.
