ABOUT SILVEROLLER
Silveroller announced themselves to the world in 2023 with a bang.
“Hold“ was released to critical acclaim, the bands debut single is now a staple of major and independent radio stations world wide. Featured heavily by the likes of Planet Rock Radio and Classic Rock Magazine, who said “Aaron Keylock has had quite a journey for a guy only just entering his twenties. In singer Jonnie Hodson – a grinning barrel of Paul Rodgers-voiced, Rod Stewart-haired energy – Keylock has the Jagger to his Richards, the Plant to his Page. A firecracker front man, giving him space to be the guitar player he always wanted to be.“
On record and live, Silveroller have drawn comparisons to Free, The Faces, Humble Pie, The Black Crowes to name a few. “We love that, those guys are our heroes and huge influences, so when the reviews come back, seeing those bands in the same sentence is us is an honour! We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel, we just want to play honest rock n’ roll. For the recording process, we wanted to go against the modern norms, we wanted to play live together and capture that energy. Our philosophy was ’traditional methods with modern technology’.“
Shortly after their debut single “Hold“ was released, Silveroller hit the road with Jared James Nichols and DeWolff, as well playing a string of headline shows across the UK.
Silveroller are looking forward to releasing their debut record in Spring of 2024 and hitting the road in support of it. As one live review stated “Silveroller will pique the interest of anyone for a hankering for some music in a similar style to Free, The Stones, and The Faces. Musically, Silveroller offers a great deal. The future is bright, and it is patchouli-scented.“
