This is in my opinion the best version of Psalm 42 , in Hebrew...“As the deer panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?“.. PSALM 42.. Transliteration: “Ka’ayal Ta’arog, al afikey moyim, ken nafshi ta’arog , eilecho Eloikim.. Tsomo Nafshi Eloikim, Tsomo Nafshi Eloikim l’el ovo vei’roe penei Eloikim?“
