I am posting this AMV (Anime Music Video) as a historical record of music video editing was like in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. These videos were created over 20 years ago using flying erase head S-VHS machines as the recording device and laser discs as the primary playback device. These videos have not been post edited so they represent what it actually looked like when played back on the VCR. This video came from a collection of AMVs from a tape from Arctic Animation labelled “Anime Music Videos Volume 1” which was available through tape trading circles as early as the usenet news group.
