A cumulative song with changing meters! This teaching process includes student input for new verses as well as some of the traditional verses. There are several other versions of this folk song. My music education majors enjoyed adding their own “fox“ motions. You have to know the youtube video of “what does a fox say“ to appreciate the context of that last verse. It was interesting to see how much more fluid the class is in rhythmic moving today especially in changing meters and this cumulative song.
