The title track became the genre’s anthem and one of the most iconic dance hits in the history of Latin American music. Latin boogaloo is a melting pot musical genre born when young Puerto Ricans in NYC mixed African American music (R&B) and doo-wop with traditional Latin rhythms. It remains a culture of inclusivity; a musical way to find value in the commonalities and differences of all people. Fania is celebrating the timeless “I Like It Like That (A Mi Me Gusta Así)“ album with an official audiophile 180-gram vinyl reissue that boasts all-analog mastering from the original tapes (out 7/31) and a new music video.
