Introductory intertitle reads: “Some unkind highbrows think that Saxophonists should all be made to jump out of aeroplanes, but this brave tootler parachuted without compulsion!“
M/S of two men shaking hands standing beside a biplane. The saxophonist has a practice toot and the other man holds his ears. Saxophonist climbs aboard smiling at the camera. Biplane takes off. We see it in flight. “Down below, Reg Batten and his Kit Cat boys wait for him - “ M/S of a group of theatre people looking up into the sky and pointing.
We see the parachutist from the ground and from the aircraft. He floats down to the ground - presumably playing as he descends. Various shots of his descent. M/S of him sitting on the ground playing the sax with his parachute behind him. His friends all rush towards him as if he has just landed. They all shake his hands and pull him to his feet.
