London. At Westminster Abbey we see various shots before and after the ceremony of giving alms on Maundy Thursday. The Yeomen of the Guard (Beefeaters) and choirboys walk along cloisters. The Duke and Duchess of Kent (Prince George and Princess Marina) arrive, representing the King. After the service, the Duke and Duchess come out of the Abbey, carrying bouquets.
