Italy’s New Battleship (1937)

Full title reads: “GENOA“. Genoa, Italy. Pan along the huge crowds gathered for launching of the new Italian battleship - the biggest in the world - Littorio. A woman and several Fascist men walking through the crowds towards the launching platform, woman gives a Fascist salute to the crowds. Woman, wife of one of the workmen, is to launch the ship. King of Italy Victor Emanuel, arriving to the ceremony, he shakes hands with several men in uniform. Crowds, some with right arm up in the air. Several shots of the ship, crowds, platform and the priest blessing the ship. Bottle breaks against the ship and it slides backwards towards water.
