Finely chop the onion and fry until golden brown. Add chanterelle mushrooms to the onions, the amount is arbitrary, as much as the frying pan will fit. Fry until the liquid has evaporated. Finally add cream, salt, pepper and chopped garlic. Let the flavors mingle and turn off the heat. Serve with rice or potatoes.
