A reading of a passage from the first book of the Aeneid, verses 305--410, in the original Latin.
The diacritical marks on the vowels are used in the following manner: All long vowels are marked with macrons, while all short syllables (note the distinction!) are marked with breves. This has the implication that unmarked vowels are those that are short but which stand in a syllable long by position. Elided vowels are in grey.
