He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother by The Hollies is a gorgeous tearjerker of a tune: uplifting, and heartfelt in it’s message, with a gusset-moistening chord progression and lyrical flair that lifts what is essentially quite a straightforward ballad into the stratosphere.
