Turbolaser point defence

Some point defense scale turbolaser bolts result in large explosions visible from space ejecting sizable debris into orbit. These debris must have been gigantic to be so easily visible from space. Like all energy weapons capital turbolasers are variable yield weapons. The objective in this instance was the destruction of an escape pod and not planetary annihilation and thus it is undoubtedly a very low scale power setting which would have been used for point defense purposes.
