Modified Trinitron 1-433-849-11 Dynamic Focus Transformer Under Oil (also 1-424-584-11)

Modified dynamic focus transformer from a SONY trinitron TV, i modified it to add a suitable primary and get rid of some weak windings, if you have one of these you can see there are a couple of sectors with the wire passing under an entire winding, this is an hi-voltage weakness, i removed one winding of the high voltage side and one of the low voltage side (the incriminated ones), the remaining one of the low voltage has been set in series with the remaining 5 of the hi-V side, now there are 6 sectors for like 210ohm of windings, the primary is 20 turns on the bottom sector, but maybe like 15 turns is better Other mods is a layer of paper around the core to center the assembly and be soaked in oil. To separate the core i heated it up on my soldering iron and pulled it (the sticky tape must be removed first), the windings are soaked in resin, you are warned I don’t know what voltage this transformer can withstand, i stopped at like 10kV, but beeing of low resistance it can generate hot arcs
