Unassisted Birth of Griffin Davis My first pregnancy and birth 1:00:47 birth video 1:22:12 - emergence 1:31:52 3rd stage 1:33:46 FaceTime with my mom holistic stages of birth: Nothing will ever come close to the pride I feel about his birth! Absolutely NOTHING!  ♐️ I included the last 20 of my birth. I made this video for @cocky_gage & I to look back on. It’s a long video so I included starting times if people want to skip ahead to certain parts. ▫ Birth story ▫ Q&A ▫ Birth video ▫ Griffin’s emergence ▫ Third stage (placenta birth) ▫ first facetime with grandma I wanted to watch all the beautiful rest periods where I was traveling the cosmos to go find and bring home our son. That stage of labor lasted 2 hrs. He crowned for the last 45 min or so. In and out. Slowly preparing both our bodies for his emergence.  ♐️ This experience transformed my family and brought my husband and I closer than ever imaginable - a trust and intimacy that could NEVER be achieved in any other way. ♐️ I didn’t have any wants or expectations for my is birth. You can’t plan it or predict it.  Animals don’t carry out plans. They’re too busy being animals. ♐️ Although I did know what I DIDN’T want: -No one telling me what to do or telling Gage what to do for me. -No one’s hands inside my body except for MY OWN. -No monitoring my baby’s heart beat and pressure to speed things up. -No IV fluids diluting my birthing hormones. -No degrading hospital gown that someone likely died in. -No having to talk or think or answer questions while laboring. -No one breaking my water. -No one telling me when and how to push. -No one cutting me to “save the stuck baby“ since he crowned for over 30 min -No rushing, fundal “massage“ or pitocin to birth my placenta  -No stitches to close my tears
