Voltaire Stop-Motion Reel: MTV station IDs

These are 3 station IDs I conceived, directed and animated for MTV between 1987 and 1993. I wrote and performed the music for MTV Bosch and Pandora’s Box. MTV Bosch was my first directing job. This ID won a Broadcast Design award in 1988 as well as a New York Festivals award. I was later told that it was included in a capsule of 20th century programming and shot into space! MTV Pandora’s Box, which was done on spec for an MTV contest, won first place at the New York Festivals in 1989.
