Double Cabriole Derriére

This video presents double cabriole derriére by Leonid Sarafanov, Daniel Ulbricht, Mikhail Baryishnikov, Ivan Vasiliev, and Ethan Stiefel. A cabiole is step in which the dancer’s legs are beaten in the air. The working leg is first thrust into the air while the supporting leg then beats against the first leg. The dancer lands on the supporting leg while the working leg is in the air. Cabrioles can be done devant (front) or derriére (back). A double cabriole derriére is a bravura step for men that is spec
