Complaint Ricardo Valente for theremin and piano

Here Is Complaint, a piece for theremin and piano written in 1934 by Ricardo Valente. Valente wrote this piece for thereminist Lucie Bigelow Rosen and in my opinion this is one of the best pieces (besides the Fantasia by Martinu) that was written for her. When I began playing theremin this was the first piece I ever recorded (at that time I only had a Moog Standard). I always wanted to make a new version of this wonderful composition and finally recorded it again with pianist Kamilla Bystrova! We chose to do the video in black and white because I also wanted to use some pictures of Lucie Rosen since it is a little tribute to her and all the great work she did to get the first original repertoire for theremin.
