From Chicago’s Blackstone Hotel, new Designated Player Xherdan Shaqiri was formally introduced by Chicago Fire Sporting Director Goerg Heitz and Head Coach Ezra Hendrickson. In a 30-minute press conference, Shaqiri addressed his excitement to be a part of the roster Heitz and Hendrickson are building, his desire to bring trophies to Chicago, and his intentions to uplift the young players in the Fire roster.
