The year is 1983. Joe Silva and his family just moved into their custom 7000sqft dream home in Bowmanville Ontario. Joe was a businessman and owned Durham Building Supplies, while also holding the position of president at Ventury Homes. No expense was spared on their dream house. Its Quality of construction, finishes and attention to detail were top-notch, highly exceeding the homes built today. His family lived in the home for 10 years, selling it to the Haynes Family in 1993 for roughly 455,000. They lived in the home for a short time listing it for sale once again in 2001 for 700k.
