Vlad Shishov has a crazy story in life and riding. He spent his first 5 years only riding in a public street plaza in his hometown of Lugansk, Ukraine where civil war ruined lives and destroyed the economic possibility of creating sporting facilities including skateparks or anything for public activity; so Vlad was left to the streets. In Ukraine, people are able to get their passports and travel Visa when they turn 16. When the civil war started, he was 15, and his opportunity to gain travel documents was gone and he was trapped. A glimmer of hope arose when citizens of Lugansk were granted permission to travel to Russia without documents. He sent a video to Kickmeat and was able to get support to begin travelling and eventually relocated to Moscow to pursue riding and work in the scooter industry, where he remains today.
