She has been with the same owner the last 49-years! For more than a century, automobile enthusiasts have considered Packard to be the epitome of elegant design and high-quality engineering. This Super Eight embodies Packard’s high-quality found in the classic cars that they produced. Powered by the famous Packard Super Eight engine, mated to the Ultramatic 2-speed transmission, this survivor is showing just 92,200-miles on her clock – and is consignor stated original. She was repainted once – years ago, and the Maroon paint still shows very well. All her trim, bumpers, and bumper guards, are all in very good condition – and some may even think they’ve been re-plated – it’s that nice. For styling, she adorns the sun visor people loved, along with a set of fender skirts, which just fits the era! When you start that motor – she just purrs, and is so quiet – yet she runs very well, and shifts through the gears with ease.
