Ukraine claims to have “liberated” the occupied city of Lyman in Donetsk, a day after Putin annexed the region. The Governor of Luhansk Oblast, Serhiy Haidai, claims Ukrainian forces have “trapped” nearly 5,000 Russian troops in Lyman. Meanwhile, severals explosions have been reported at the Russian air base near Sevastopol in occupied Crimea. Russia vetoed the UNSC resolution condemning Moscow’s annexation of four Ukrainian regions.
