Its right-handed counterpart, 卐, is the symbol for Nazism. The lyrics seem to associate strongly with Nazism, however. A “karakuri“ is a mechanized puppet capable of performing simple preprogrammed tricks. It can also metaphorically refer to a person who follows orders blindly.
