Tymon’s Challenge is a measure of the time it takes a cuber to complete three sub-6 3x3 solves, not necessarily consecutively. A successful attempt accounts for the acts of 1) scrambling, 2) inspecting, and 3) timing for every completed solve. Entering times is not necessary, but solves must be timed on a Stackmat. Furthermore, at no point during an attempt may the cuber pause the timer.
The challenge was invented by Lucas Etter, who drew inspiration from Tymon Kolasinski’s “Fast Friday“ videos. Each Friday, Tymon would record three sub-6 3x3 solves, but Lucas saw the opportunity in adding a time component to Tymon’s plan.
