Maputo, written by Marcus Miller for Bob James & David Sanborn’s 1986 jazz-funk-fusion album, Double Vision, arranged here for three 4 string electric bass guitars by Karl Clews. The original recording featured Sanborn on sax, James on keys, Paul Jackson Jr on guitar, Miller on bass and Steve Gadd on drums. Performed on a 2003 Status Graphite Kingbass Artist, recorded directly into Cakewalk Sonar Platinum, via a Presonus Audiobox. Drums programmed in Stylus RMX and Session Drummer 3. Video edited using TrakAxPC.
