#64 Pladask Elektrisk - Feber
When Knut from Pladask asked if I’d like to demo his new Ring Mod pedal of course I said yes, I love Knut’s work, but I figured it would be one of my shorter demos, maybe 7 minutes or so because after all how long can you stand the clang of ring mod before it gets old right?... But boy oh boy was I surprised the first time I plugged in Feber and took myself for a walk around the controls. This thing is pure modulation magic! Not only does it deliver the ring modulation tones you would expect but it has two slower rates of ring mod frequency than we commonly find on such pedals, that can conjure everything from phaser to harmonic tremolo to radical multibank resonant filter tones. It is a true work of art and instantly earned itself a late entry into my top 10 pedals of 2020 bumping out something else totally exceptional. Anyway please enjoy!
