’Dega Ugnelė’ (Lith. Fire is Burning) is an old Baltic chant dedicated to Gabija - the Goddess of Fire. Fire in pre-Christian Baltic lands symbolized life, purification, protection, and connection to the divine, serving as a vital element in rituals and everyday life. Prior to the main melody of the chant, you can hear special lyrics written with the purpose to bring awareness to current forest crimes in Lithuania. Forest is a sanctuary full of inherited ancestral history, a treasure none should ever claim. Protect it as you protect your home. Unite and stop forest crime in Lithuania! Horrible things are happening to these beautiful forests, many companies (including ikea) are stealing them quietly and destroying them with all its sacred history for which we fought for centuries. Please do not look away, we need to be strong together and stop ikea once and for all. LT. “Dega Ugnelė“ yra senovės Baltų apeigų giesmė, skirta ugnies deivei Gabijai. Baltų žemėse ugnis, prieš krikščionybę, buvo pagrindinis gyvybės, išvalymo, apsaugos ir ryšio su visata elementas, naudotas apeigose ir kasdienybėje. Prieš prasidedant pagrindinei melodijai galime išgirsti specialiai pridėtus žodžius, kurie skatina atkreipti dėmesį į nelegalius Lietuvos miškų kirtimus. Miškas yra šventovė, pilna protėvių istorijos, turtas, kurio niekas negali savintis. Saugok jį taip, kaip saugai savus namus, užkirsk kelią šiems žiauriems nusikaltimams! Vyksta nesuvokiami dalykai, daugybė kompanijų (jų tarpe ir ikea) tyliai vagia ir kerta mūsų gražiuosius miškus su visa jų didybe ir istorija už kurią amžių amžius tiek kovojome. Neužsimerkime, turim būti stiprūs ir kartu sustabdyti šią žiaurią neteisybę!
