This is an AU where Onewhisker DOES take Darktail as a kit with him, albeit unwillfully, back to Windclan after Smoke begs him. Growing up in Windclan, Darktail is neglected by his father and his clanmates. Darktail, traumatized after finding his mother’s body on Windclan’s border, and in the realization that no amount of accomplishments will he ever receive his father’s affection, runs away- stumbling into a stranger who offers a bloody solution to all of Darktail’s problems.
