Alan Shearer and Teddy Sheringham were side-by-side when England met Georgia in their qualifying match towards the 1998 World cup in France. Alan Shearer smashed the ball at the back of the net after the Georgians forgot about the back pass rule. Alan marked his 32nd England Cap with both a goal and a win for his side as they ended the game 2-0.
