Learn A Hidden Detail From The Rear Naked Choke by Henry Akins - This was a crazy drilling session for me, I’ll be honest, I’ve never trained in all of my years of Jiu-Jitsu - how to escape a Rear Naked Choke with it 100% sunk in! And I’ve never drilled with someone who has really tried to escape when I had one all of the way sunk in ( - It is just not a skill we ever trained... It felt so weird to train like this - but it was awesome!! It took me another 2 or 3 rounds to understand what Henry Akins was doing and finally be able to submit him from the Rear Naked Choke. It’s incredible how he escapes and how easy he gets to turn, I’ve never really even thought about doing this - it is great to be still learning 21 years into my Jiu-Jitsu Journey - Henry is a really great teacher...
