Ensemble: Hesperion XX Album: Cansós De Trobairitz Video: Les Très riches Heures de Metz - 1300/1399 • When talking about Hesperion XX and Jordi Savall, there is not much to add to the presentation as we are talking about some of the most famous musicians in the world engaged in the performance and research of ancient music. I will therefore limit myself to writing that this 1978 album features, together with Jordi Savall and Montserrat Figueiras, Hopkinson Smith who will remain in the Hesperion XX project even when it becomes Hesperion XXI; Christophe Coin who will be a member of many ensembles including “Il Giardino Armonico“ as well as various productions linked to the “Schola Cantorum Basiliensis“, Josep Benet who will join, among others, the Ensemble Organum of Marcel Peres and, finally, the great Pilar Figueiras, sister of Montserrat and historic voice of the Clemencic Consort. Allow me now a personal note: I am not
