Jon Nuccle - Live @ Pure Filth, Nottingham, UK . “Jon Nuccle is one of the true pioneers of UK Techno music. A career spanning over 25 years at the cutting edge of the genre, beginning with his groundbreaking Microdot Acid and Techno events in Leeds in 1991, which led to his weekly Dream FM Radio show in 1992 (which ran for 3 years, sandwiched between Daz Quayle’s Haywire show and Nightmares On Wax’s legendary Smoker’s Delight show), Nuccle was paramount in championing Techno music in the North of England in the early 90s. His uncompromising DJ style quickly became the stuff of legend, leading to performances in clubs and on radio across the globe (including an hour long live mix for BBC Radio One in 2003) and eventually to a monthly residency at the legendary Orbit club in Leeds in the late nineties and early noughties.
