One thought I had when I did this one is to show people that Yngwie is not just speed. There’s so much more to his playing and songwriting. It used to be anyway. If the old Yngwie would sound like the current Yngwie that is obsessed with double bass drums and fast playing I would never gotten in to his music like I did back in the day. Back then he had great songs with a lot of variation to it. He played fast, but not always and it was always tasteful. And no one can hang on a bended note like him. Just listen to Overture 1383 from the Marching Out album.
Bedroom Eyes is from Eclipse, released in 1990. Svante Henryson, possibly best known as a cello player is playing the bass. I’ve tried to honor his version as much as I could. Totally forgot about the second part of the solo and is just improvising there.
