To make traveling a little easier, we decided to rent a scooter to explore Chiang Rai and see a few of the best attractions. Our first stop was the White Temple, known as Wat Rong Khun. This has to be one of the best temples we have ever seen. Wat Rong Khun, better known as the White Temple, is a Buddhist temple and one of the most recognizable temples in Pa O Don Chai, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. The temple was designed by an artist as was funded by himself too. We then headed to a Wat Huay Pla Kang: Goddess of Mercy in Chiang Rai. This is actually a chinese godess statue but you can actually go to the top of this statue that stands almost 70m high and see Chiang Rai Province from above. Honestly such an incredible day!
