Jan and Lionel both excel in head-to-head races. They are also constantly looking for challenges to push themselves and the limits of what is possible. During a time when opportunities for racing are scarce, they wanted to create something memorable. What at first was a quick and crazy idea quickly spiraled into what is now known as the Tri Battle Royale. On July 18, they will race head-to-head in a fun and fast duel on the roads of southern Germany to settle the score on who is the fastest. And just maybe set a new world record for a full distance triathlon in the process.
