Clive Robert Benjamin Dunn, OBE(9 January 1920 -6 November 2012 aged 92. Clive was an English actor,comedian,artist,author,and was best known for playing the elderly Lance Corporal Jones in the BBC Sitcom Dad’s Army. The song It’s a long way to Tipperary was written Jack Judge and co credited to Henry James it was allegedly written for a 5 Shilling bet in Stalybridge on the 30 Jan Good Old Days was recorded on the 16 July 1981.
