Mussel Tapas The Catalan Way / Mussels in vinegar

Hi everyone, I’m here with a new Fishy Friday! So glad you’re watching! We are in Cadaqués, Spain, and I’m going to show you how to make my favorite mussel tapas, the Catalan way. I use amazing wild grown mussels, caught right behind me in the Mediterranean Sea. The mussels are fresh and so tasty! I combine the cooked mussels with fresh ingredients like tomato, garlic & onion. After the mussels are cooked and cooled down, we marinade the juicy meat with a zingy dressing. After a couple of hours in the fridge, all the beautiful flavors will be infused in the mussels, it’s so good! I love to make this in advance and serve it with some bread. You’ll definitely need the bread to soak up the very last dressing out of the bowl! The perfect tapas. You can get mussels wild grown, bottom culture or hang culture. All sustainable and all very tasty! The only thing with wild grown mussels is that you must clean and debeard the mussels first. But I promise you, it’s easy and worth the effort! I hope you liked my video and you’ll think of this recipe next time you’re making tapas!
