Sword-billed hummingbird at Zuro Loma Reserve in Ecuador

What a thrill to have a sword-billed hummingbird land for some sweet treats during our December 2021 stay outside Mindo, Ecuador. It is the only bird to have a beak longer than the rest of its body, excluding the tail.
