Building the PiBook, a Raspberry Pi notebook

Here’s a quick and dirty video showing how I built the PiBook, a Raspberry Pi 2 based notebook with it’s own LCD, battery, lipo charger, wifi and even a powered hub to get external hard drives to work. It’s not perfect, the keyboard and trackpad are those of a MacBook and are internally wired to a USB port, unfortunately the trackpad itself doesen’t work (missing drivers), it has no internal speakers and the design is thick and boxy. I still consider this to be a great personal achievement and a nice proof
