“We will listen, and we will investigate.” Sexual abuse case features in ITV1 documentary.

Thanks to the work of specialist officers and the bravery of young and vulnerable victims, former Colchester gymnastics instructor David Schadek was convicted of a series of child sex offences and was jailed for four-and-a-half years in February 2022. And now this investigation features in a new prime-time ITV documentary that examines the issue of physical, emotional and sexual abuse within the sport of gymnastics. Gymnastics: A Culture of Abuse? airs at 9pm tonight.
