NYC Woman Feeds 550 Feral Cats All Night, Every Night

Every night for the last four years, East New York’s Meena Persaud has fed and treated hundreds of feral cats in New York at her own expense of $150 per day. She starts at 8:30 p.m. and works until six in the morning. Persaud has been caring for these cats for four years, spending only her savings. But during the pandemic, money has become tight as the cat population explodes.
