Cuts (rushes, out takes) for story in Colour Pictorial - CP 566. The cut story is also on Pathe Master tape *PM0341*. There are five reels of cuts for this Southern Ireland travelogue - c 60 mins - so worth checking for extra material. IRELAND - TRADITION ON THE MOVE - This reel of cuts includes: St Patrick’s Day parade through O’Connell Street (lots of shots not used in cut story), marching bands and floats etc, shots of the crowd, hurling match in Croke Park, C/Us of spectators, Irish marching band seen performing on the pitch, farmer walks along with a donkey laden down with bundles, M/S of farmer’s cottages in beautiful landscape, cottages are painted bright white, C/U for a sign which reads “Teach an Phiarsaigh“ and “Pearse’s Cottage“, farmer digs for peat, high angle shot of a medieval banquet (this not seen in cut story), women and men wearing old fashioned costumes serve food to the guests, a drunk young man lights his cigarette from a candle then throws some food around, glass factory footage
